Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for individuals spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing standardized testing and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that focus on both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting aspects such as communication, language development, fluency, and swallowing mechanics.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to design holistic care plans.
• Provide vital education to patients and families to sustain progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure overall continuity in patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth through continuing education and collaborative mentorship.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be secured within 30 days of employment.
