Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services for middle school students in Endicott, NY, on a Contract School Year (CSY) basis. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for middle school students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services and student outcomes. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs. Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Valid certification or licensure as an SLP in a school setting. Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a school calendar year contract. Work Location: Middle School setting based in Endicott, New York.
