Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in providing evaluation and therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position is located in Avondale, AZ, and is scheduled for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Delivering therapy sessions focused on speech and language objectives Monitoring and documenting student progress thoroughly Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care Engaging with families to support and educate them throughout the therapy process Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Arizona Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team To qualify, candidates must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Arizona and possess or be in the process of obtaining a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
