Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full academic year contract in a K-12 school setting located in South Amboy, NJ. This role focuses on delivering speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development and educational progress. Responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade Collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintaining detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions Providing intervention and therapy in accordance with best practices and state regulations Participating in school meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure as an SLP Experience working in a school-based setting preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children and adolescents Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations Location: South Amboy, NJ Contract Details: Academic year duration Contract position This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on students' communication skills and academic success in a supportive K-12 environment.
