Part-Time Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric and school-based settings to serve an elementary school community in New Braunfels, TX. The role involves working with an elementary caseload in a supportive environment alongside a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and another part-time SLP, providing comprehensive speech therapy services to children who need it most. Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of approximately 25-30 elementary students requiring speech-language services. Deliver individualized therapy and assessments tailored to student needs. Collaborate with a team including a full-time SLPA and another part-time SLP to ensure continuity and quality of care. Facilitate Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings on campus to support student progress and compliance. Maintain accurate records and documentation of services in accordance with school policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within elementary school settings. Familiarity with healthcare and school-based speech-language pathology practices. Strong communication and organizational skills to conduct ARD meetings effectively. Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Location: New Braunfels, TX

Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
