Job Overview

Fairview has an immediate opening for an Patient Services Coordinator at the M Health Fairview Wyoming Lakes Specialty Clinic.

This position is approved for 72 hours every two weeks,

We believe the schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and have every other Wednesday off.

The Patient Services Coordinator performs a variety of clerical functions to support the provider and patient care staff. The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible to ensure patient medical records and reports are available as needed and prepares applicable medical record forms. Relays messages to and from physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other resources necessary for patient care.

Job Expectations:

  • Coordinate’s activities of care team to support provider and patient care staff.
    • Performs telephone message taking and directs communication in a timely fashion.
    • Requests/obtains patient reports as necessary.
    • Effectively uses communication systems for both routine and emergency transactions.
    • Coordinates communication between care team and outside resources.
    • Enters refills.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

    • Complies with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
