Job Description
  • Design Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft tailored therapy approaches to help them reach their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Leverage evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, interdisciplinary care.
  • Educate Patients and Their Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapy methods to support continued progress outside the therapy room.
  • Track and Adjust Patient Progress: Monitor outcomes meticulously and make necessary adjustments in treatment strategies, ensuring patients remain on target.
Education
  • Completion of an accredited degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Support for continuing education or post-grad certifications provided
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
