School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 educational setting in Oswego, NY, is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract positions during the 2025-2026 school year. Both positions require candidates to hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and valid New York State Professional and TSSLD licenses. Key Qualifications: SLP with CCC certification required (no CFYs accepted) New York State Professional Teaching License TSSLD certification Experience working with K-12 students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Position Details: Full-time, 37 hours per week One full school year position: September 2025 through the end of June 2026 One maternity leave position: September 2025 through December 2025 Services provided within a comprehensive school-based therapy program Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities This contract role offers a meaningful chance to impact student learning outcomes.
