Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover a maternity leave assignment in a K-12 school setting located in Plainfield, IL. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade and runs from ASAP through December. The position requires in-person work and focuses on delivering comprehensive speech-language services during the leave period. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for students across K-12 grades. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with educational and clinical guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Experience working in healthcare, pediatric, or school-based SLP settings. Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus but this role is strictly in-person. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff. Location: This position is based in Plainfield, Illinois.
