Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025 to 2026 school year in the New Haven, CT area. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students from Preschool through 8th grade at an elementary school, as well as preschoolers in the surrounding community. This itinerant position involves working alongside another SLP assigned to the same school, fostering collaboration and supportideal for clinicians who are new graduates or new to school settings. Two openings are available, welcoming candidates who hold an SLP-CCC certification or are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language assessments and interventions for students preschool through 8th grade Collaborate with school staff and families to develop effective communication plans Serve preschool-aged children in the community through targeted therapy services Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided Qualifications: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligible Experience with pediatric populations across early childhood to middle school age groups preferred Ability to work itinerantly within one school and community settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Location: New Haven, CT (Elementary School setting) This role is not open to tele-therapists or SLP Assistants at this time.
