Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 educational setting to support students' communication development. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services within a school environment, promoting effective communication skills that enhance students' academic and social success. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for students across grades K-12. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group sessions. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid state licensure and certification as an SLP. Experience working with children in a K-12 setting preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Location: Sanford, FL
