How you'll contribute Delivers routine therapy as delegated by a therapist. Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources. Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders. Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment. Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines. Qualifications and requirements: Licenses: Certified Respiratory Care Therapist; Valid Current TN Board of Respiratory Care Certifications: (BLS) Basic Life Support required one month from hire/transfer date (ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support six months from hire/transfer date (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support six months from hire/transfer date About us Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is a 53 bed in patient acute rehabilitation hospital located in Germantown, Tennessee and is part of Lifepoint Health , a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
