Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full Time Physical Therapist to join our award-winning team at Overlook Medical Center's inpatient Rehab department. This position will be serving our inpatient population with various diagnoses, that include spine, neuro, and orthopedic populations. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, from a-4p, and will require two weekend days per month and two holidays per year. The PT will be responsible for providing a broad range of physical therapy services in an interdisciplinary setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Ensures and provides development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis. 2. Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise. 3. Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more. 4. Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation. 5. Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly. 6. Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment. 7. Works with other professionals in an effective manner 8. Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions. 9. Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team. 10. Performs other related duties as assigned. -Must have a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited and recognized college/university -Must have a current and valid NJ PT License -Acute care experience is preferred but not required -Must have current, up to date BLS certification
