Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The SLP will work with patients of all ages to help improve communication abilities and swallowing functions, depending on the setting.
Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs or therapy plans) based on patient needs.
Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about communication disorders and treatment strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
Participate in IEP meetings (in educational settings) and contribute to the planning and review of student goals.
Stay current with research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current and valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.
Experience in school settings preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
