The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a clinical audiologist, appointed with academic rank of Faculty Associate.

Responsibilities in clinical audiology can include provisions of a full range of audiological services to patients of all ages.

Services provided at our clinics include diagnostic audiological evaluations, electrophysiological testing (ABR, ASSR, ECoG, VEMP), vestibular evaluations (ENG/VNG, platform posturography, sinusoidal harmonic acceleration/rotary chair), otoacoustic emissions and/or universal newborn hearing screening. The audiologist may also conduct hearing aid evaluations, dispense hearing aid devices, and/or provide bone anchored hearing implant or cochlear implant services. Areas of growth include all areas of coverage, with more rapid growth for pediatric services, including amplification and electrophysiology, as well as coverage at satellite locations, including Fort Wort and Frisco.

We are a large, collaborative team. We are looking for emotionally mature and positive individuals with strong work ethic. Experience is preferred but not required.

The candidate must have a doctoral degree and a license in Audiology for the State of Texas.
