Position Title Office Services Aide Department Outdoor Recreation Ctr Department Summary
The incumbent in this position will be responsible for guiding students on various outdoor excursions such as skiing, and hiking among other outdoor activities. The incumbent will also be responsible for renting and inspecting outdoor recreation equipment. As well as keeping all student files up to date and validating students eligibility to rent from our center. Custodial duties are also required as part of this position. Weekday and weekend driving duties are also required as part of the position as needed.

- Routine data entry
- Answering phones; greeting customers; taking messages
- Scanning and making copies
- Training new hires
- Managing schedules
- Providing support to students (tutors, peer mentors, orientation leaders)
- Conduct presentations
- Managing confidential information
- Maintain regular attendance
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Specific Duties
The Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the function of the Fly-Book Software. Assisting students with equipment checkout, and returns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold certifications that outdoor recreation deems necessary.
- Serve as a guide as well as maintain regular office duties.
- Maintain regular attendance;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- College student at NMHU enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- No experience to some clerical/office experience
Preferred Qualifications
Students should be knowledgeable about various outdoor recreation activities. Students should also know the basic functions of outdoor equipment and maintenance.
