Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This full-time Occupational Therapist position supports a diverse K-12 student caseload within a vibrant school setting located approximately 30 minutes from Rochester, NY. The role is offered on a full-semester contract basis, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' functional and academic success. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to K-12 students based on IEP goals. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Assess students' developmental, sensory, motor, and fine motor skills to guide therapy approaches. Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements. Support students in developing independence and participation in school activities. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in New York State. Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting, K-12 preferred. Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IDEA regulations. Ability to manage a caseload independently and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
