Short-term Occupational Therapist Philadelphia (RF: 3197)

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time position serving K-12 students in the Philadelphia, PA (19138) area. This role begins in September and runs through early December 2025. Candidates must hold an active Pennsylvania OT license and maintain current clearances. Qualifications: Must have a certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Must be licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in PA Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program Minimum of two years of experience in school settings Experience with students with autism, emotional disturbance, and intellectual disabilities preferred Must have up-to-date PA Clearances FBI Fingerprints, PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Responsibilities: Perform or review screenings and assessments; use results to inform treatment & recommendations Identify motor or sensory impairments; evaluate need for school-based services and supports Write clear reports that summarize treatment progress, assessment results, and recommendations Develop, implement, and evaluate student progress on IEP goals and objectives Provide continuum of support to students (e.g., individual, group, and classroom services) Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members in facilitating evidence-based interventions Provide consultation to parents and educators regarding students' sensory and/or motor needs Consult with teams regarding adaptation of environments and need for adaptive devices or services At Humanus, we are devoted to making a difference and improving the lives of others.
