The Bridge Autism Clinic- St. Paul, MN
Are you a dedicated and compassionate licensed speech therapist with a passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum? The Bridge Autism Clinic is expanding, and we are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct speech services, and establish and lead our Speech Services Department. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping our clinic's speech services and support a growing community of individuals and families impacted by autism.
Position Overview:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for children with autism.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Lead and mentor our speech therapy team.
- Engage in program development and contribute to clinic growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Minnesota, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 148.512 to 148.5198.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

### Minnesota Licensing and Regulatory Requirements:
All applicants must hold a current Minnesota license to practice speech-language pathology as mandated by the Minnesota Department of Health. Under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 148.512 to 148.5198, SLPs are required to meet educational qualifications, complete supervised clinical hours, and pass the Praxis exam. Additionally, practitioners must maintain compliance with continuing education requirements to ensure best practices in delivering care.
Have at least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition OR have completed the equivalent in graduate-level coursework at an accredited university.
