Job Title: Massage Therapist
Department: Wellness
Reports To: Wellness Program Manager
Compensation: $92 per one hour session
Schedule: Your work schedule during the year will follow the dancers' 42 week schedule

Job Summary:
We are looking for a licensed, professional massage therapist to work onsite with the professional dancers of San Francisco Ballet. Must have a depth of knowledge and skills with deep tissue styles and medically therapeutic massage. This position presents an additional opportunity to grow a client base and provide offsite treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Evaluate dancers soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, range of motion, and health concerns. Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used. Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance. Work with the Company Physical Therapist and Wellness team to treat dancers with concerns and injuries.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
Must possess an active massage Therapy License/ Certification.
Proficient knowledge of Rolfing, Swedish, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massage.
Always maintains a professional working relationship with clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Prior experience working with athletes or dancers preferred.
Hours:
11:45 AM-7:15 PM Tuesdays
Six one-hour sessions
11:45 AM-12:45 PM
1:00 PM-2:00 PM
2:15 PM-3:15 PM
3:45 PM-4:45 PM
5:00 PM-6:00 PM
6:15 PM-7:15 PM
