Description
- Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
- Create tailored treatment plans aimed at fulfilling immediate and prolonged needs related to communication, cognitive function, or swallowing.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy that focuses on enhancing communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice skills, and swallowing abilities.
- Work closely with a dedicated team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design cohesive care pathways.
- Provide educational resources to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions in speech therapy, ensuring seamless continuity of care during recovery.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting employment.
