Physical Therapist Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of geriatric patients.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with elderly patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of geriatric physical therapy techniques and approaches preferred
