Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Sanger, CA

An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping children develop essential skills that foster their learning and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services tailored to students individual needs
• Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement effective intervention plans
• Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes accurately
• Adapting therapeutic approaches to fit classroom environments and educational goals
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary discussions

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid COTA certification and licensure as required
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices and relevant regulations

Location: Position is based in Sanger, CA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
