A Physical Therapist is needed to provide skilled therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Provo, UT. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, encompassing 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with an immediate start for a 12-week duration. The role focuses on delivering physical therapy services to students, with responsibilities typically aligned with the disciplines standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for K-12 students
- Implement interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Collaborate with educational and healthcare staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document therapy progress in compliance with regulatory and school policies
- Provide therapy services primarily at one main location, with potential assignments at nearby outpatient sites
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of a diverse student population
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Utah Physical Therapist license is required
- Experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or post-acute care settings preferred
