Occupational Therapist School Setting - Glen Allen, VA

This part-time occupational therapy position offers a unique opportunity to support the developmental and therapeutic needs of K-12 students within an elementary school setting in Glen Allen, VA. Serving as a key member of the educational team, you will provide onsite occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of students throughout the school year 2025/2026. With a caseload to be determined, the role offers flexibility with 3-6 hours per week, up to a maximum of 8 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to elementary school students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Virginia
• Experience in both healthcare and school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an educational environment
• Ability to manage caseload effectively and provide flexible scheduling
• Commitment to supporting student growth and development through evidence-based practices
