Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Huntington Beach, CA

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Huntington Beach, CA. This contract position covers the full school year (NSY) with a workload of 35 to 37.5 hours per week. The role involves providing speech-language therapy services consistent with typical SLP duties, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for pediatric clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California SLP Licensure required
• Certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Experience working in healthcare and pediatric settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy services
• Ability to fulfill Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements if applicable
• Background in school-based speech therapy preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
• Provide teletherapy as needed
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
