Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full-Time Loyth, CA

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Loyth, California. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with an Occupational Therapist to help K12 students build the skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to students with a variety of developmental, physical, and sensory needs

• Implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence

• Support students in developing skills that enhance participation in classroom learning and everyday activities

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure therapy strategies are reinforced in the classroom and at home

• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and required reports

• Modify activities and materials to meet each students unique needs

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up to date on school-based occupational therapy best practices

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current California COTA license

• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Commitment to promoting student growth, independence, and success
