Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Arlington Heights, IL

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services as a licensed clinician in an elementary school setting, supporting students with communication needs across two school locations in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract position spans the academic school year (CSY), requiring approximately 34 hours per week, working closely with an elementary caseload to foster language development and enhance student learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Manage caseload efficiently across two school sites, ensuring consistent support for all assigned students

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Illinois State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is highly preferred
