Occupational Therapist Leave Contract | Liberty Lake, WA
A dynamic elementary school in the Liberty Lake area is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time leave contract from August 26 through early October 2025. Supporting approximately 42 students across multiple elementary sites, this role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population exhibiting various disabilities. The position requires 37.5 hours per week and offers a collaborative environment with an experienced director who has a strong history of leadership since 2018.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Support students with a wide range of disabilities through evidence-based interventions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed and certified Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school OT practices is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 42 students and adapt to multiple sites
- Open availability for interviews and prompt decision-making on employment offers
