About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of Respiratory Care & Central Cardiac Monitoring at our brand-new Wiregrass Ranch Hospital. This role is an opportunity to help shape services from the ground up while delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and safe respiratory care to our patients.

The Director will partner closely with the Medical Director to develop and approve policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and guide a growing team in delivering exceptional patient care. You will oversee both inpatient and outpatient procedures, as well as Respiratory Therapy and Central Cardiac Monitoring services.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Lead and grow a team of 13+ FTEs (with anticipated expansion)

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for Respiratory Therapy and Central Cardiac Monitoring

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with JCAHO, state, and federal regulations

  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources for optimal patient care

  • Serve as a liaison between medical staff, administration, and other departments

  • Support both inpatient and outpatient clinical operations, including critical care transports and diagnostic testing


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Business Administration, Health Science Administration, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, including at least 1 year of leadership experience in an acute care respiratory unit

  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient procedures preferred

  • Strong leadership competencies and ability to manage cross-functional clinical teams

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of Florida

  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

  • Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification
