Location: PS 115, 1500 E 92 Str. Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY
Program: Brooklyn Center for Families in Crisis (BCFC) - OMH Licensed Article 31 MHOTRS

Brooklyn Center for Families in Crisis (BCFC) is a small, supportive, OMH-licensed Article 31 Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS) program. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to join our team as a Full time 12-month therapist in our School Satellite Mental Health Clinic located at PS 115 in Canarsie, Brooklyn .

Position Details:

Full-time, 12-month position

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with flexibility to offer additional hours by appointment if needed.

Location: In-person at PS 115 during the school year; telehealth sessions during school breaks as needed

Population: Elementary school students and their families

Start Date: September

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and family therapy to elementary-aged students

Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Use telehealth for family sessions and when school is not in session

Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with OMH standards

Participate in weekly clinical supervision with an LCSW supervisor

Qualifications:

LMSW or LCSW licensed in New York State (required)

Experience working with elementary school-aged children and families (required)

Comfortable and competent using telehealth platforms (plus)

Bilingual in Haitian Creole and/or other languages (plus but not required)

What We Offer:

Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) from $64,000 to $69,000
