Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and develop personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use proven, evidence-based approaches to promote patients motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide insightful instruction to patients and their caregivers regarding therapy techniques to encourage continued progress outside of therapy sessions
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• We encourage ongoing education and support post-graduate certifications

Licensure and Certifications

• Current, active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
