Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This position seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist with expertise in home health, healthcare, and school settings to provide specialized services in a K-12 educational environment in Westerville, OH. The role is a contract position covering a leave, requiring an ASAP start to support elementary and middle school students. Work Schedule and Location: Monday to Friday, 7:25 am to 2:55 pm 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week Services provided onsite at elementary and middle school locations No remote or virtual work allowed Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering occupational therapy services that support educational goals and student independence Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Utilize clinical expertise to assess students' needs and monitor progress effectively Comply with all school policies and applicable regulations while maintaining clear documentation Provide in-person therapy sessions, as assistants such as COTAs are not permissible in this role Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based therapy Strong background in home health and healthcare OT desirable Ability to manage a large student caseload with diverse needs Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to on-site, hands-on service delivery This contract opportunity offers impactful work in a structured school environment, supporting students' developmental and educational success.
