Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in Hopkins, MN. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services during the school year to enhance students' functional abilities and support their academic success. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to student needs Conduct assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care challenges Deliver direct therapy interventions to improve students' participation in school activities and daily routines Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment goals as necessary Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to contribute professional expertise Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid occupational therapy license suitable for school-based practice Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy evaluation and intervention techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation skills Location: Hopkins, Minnesota
