The Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor faculty position. A faculty member in the Speech-Language Pathology Program has responsibilities in teaching, scholarship, and service which will include evidence-based classroom instruction, clinical education in area of expertise, development of a productive line of scholarship and active participation on Program committees. Faculty with expertise in motor speech disorders, voice and resonance disorders, fluency disorders and/or articulation and phonological disorders are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related area, certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-SLP) and must hold or be eligible for state licensure in Arizona. An earned doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or related discipline, prior university academic or clinical teaching experience, scholarly productivity, and professional service will enhance the candidate’s application.
