Pediatric Speech Pathology - Slidell, LA

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, including the extended school year program. This role is based in an elementary school setting in Slidell, LA, offering a comprehensive contract position focused on pediatric speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to students
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
• Maintain detailed progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in pediatric settings, preferably within schools or healthcare environments
• Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable but not mandatory

Schedule and Contract Details:

• Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• W2 Contract employment for the full school year plus extended year program
