A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, including the extended school year program. This role is based in an elementary school setting in Slidell, LA, offering a comprehensive contract position focused on pediatric speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain detailed progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in pediatric settings, preferably within schools or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable but not mandatory
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- W2 Contract employment for the full school year plus extended year program
