Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Cape Coral, FL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Cape Coral, Florida. This role provides the opportunity to help K12 students improve their communication, language, and speech skills, fostering both academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with targeted speech and language goals

• Provide direct therapy services for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student participation and learning outcomes

• Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy strategies as needed

• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines

• Provide strategies, resources, and training to staff and families to support skill development beyond therapy sessions

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to fostering student communication and participation
