Occupational Therapist (OT) Full-Time Ruskin, FL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Ruskin, Florida. This is a rewarding opportunity to help K12 students develop the skills needed for academic success and daily living by providing individualized therapy and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and needs through evaluations and observations

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to each students unique needs

• Provide direct therapy services to improve students fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and school participation

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students access to the curriculum

• Document and monitor student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed

• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements

• Offer strategies, resources, and training to staff and families to promote carryover of skills

• Maintain accurate records and therapy documentation in accordance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to supporting student independence and participation
