Key Responsibilities

- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that hone in on language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
- Engage with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to create a unified approach to care.
- Provide education and tools to patients and families to support ongoing improvement beyond the therapy room.
- Contribute to inpatient assessments and therapy as needed, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of patient care.
- Keep thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Qualifications
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.
Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
