Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with pelvic floor experience for an outpatient setting, requiring at least BLS certification and MO licensure.

• Position is at a hospital-based outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation
• Patient caseload includes pelvic health, outpatient ortho, sports, lymphedema, and medical massage service lines
• Daily patient load is approximately 8 patients with a 75% productivity standard
• Flexible day-shift schedule available Monday through Friday, clinic hours are 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
• No weekend or on-call shifts required
• No floating to other units or facilities required
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation; Epic experience is preferred
• Business casual dress code is required
• Case mix includes urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, pelvic girdle pain, dyspareunia, and related conditions
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
• No more than 7 days of requested time off approved per 13-week contract; no RTO approved in the first week
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Assignments for travelers limited to 12-18 months based on role, with mandatory break periods after maximum duration

• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required, with direct pelvic floor experience
• Pelvic floor certification is preferred but not required
• Valid MO Physical Therapy license required; pending state license may be accepted if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with outpatient adult patient populations required
• Experience with myotrac biofeedback, pain assessment, strength testing, gait belt use, and home exercise program instruction preferred
• Epic EMR experience required for some units
• Fit testing required, with facial hair restrictions for compliance
