American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist with a strong background in orthopedic care for a rural clinic setting in Colorado.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a rural healthcare outpatient clinic
Primary focus on outpatient and orthopedic cases
Monday through Friday schedule, 9-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
Patient assessments and therapeutic interventions will be a core part of daily responsibilities
Responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, therapeutic planning, and intervention
Duties include maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation
Contributes to education and knowledge-sharing within the team and community
Supports health promotion and injury prevention initiatives across age groups
No specific radius requirement; local candidates may be considered

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of recent experience in outpatient and orthopedic care
Graduation from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy is required
Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Colorado or permit from the licensing board is required; license required if applicable
Current CPR certification is required
Rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training preferred
Eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or the American Registry of Physical Therapy
