Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist - ECB (as needed)

As an ECB (as needed) Respiratory Therapist, you will work as needed, 7am-7pm. This position does not qualify for benefits. An ECB employee must work a minimum of 24 hours a month, but more hours are available if candidate desires. During your orientation, you will need to work part-time or full-time hours until you're fully oriented to the unit.

The Certified Respiratory Technician and Registered Respiratory Therapist, hold safety sensitive positions, and perform respiratory therapy treatments, patient-ventilator management and administer diagnostic procedures including EKG’s, pulse oximetry and PFT’s through an individualized, specialized plan of patient care. Manage cardio-pulmonary/respiratory equipment through regular maintenance including cleanings, charges, and stocking related supplies (i.e., O2) to assure safe and accurate patient care. Respiratory Therapist will intubate during a code blue if necessary.

• What’s required of you? Current CRT/RCP Oklahoma license required upon hire. Current RRT credential required for Registered Therapist. Current BLS and ACLS required upon hire. PALS required 60 days after hire.
• Do I need experience? At least one-year experience in a clinical setting preferred.
