Speech Language Pathologist
Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based (In-Person Only)
Start Date: September 22, 2025 (Early start available at Riverside location)
Duration: Full School Year (9 months)
Work Hours: 40 hours/week | Typical schedule: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for evaluating students, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy services in accordance with physician orders and educational goals. This role supports students from Kindergarten through 9th grade with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders that impact academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to support IEP goals
- Supervise related service providers including OTs and counselors
- Utilize ACC devices as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using Paradigm Pioneer EMR system
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
