Role Responsibilities

• Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and create tailored therapy strategies that support their journey toward functional independence.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to enhance motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities for your patients.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a patients recovery.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy practices to ensure ongoing improvement outside of clinical settings.
• Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to maintain the trajectory of patient success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Engagement in continuing education or advanced certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
