Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support K-12 students across multiple school sites in Irvine, CA. This contract position runs throughout the current school year and involves working with a caseload of approximately 30 students. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Travel between multiple school locations within the district; mileage reimbursement is provided. Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student success. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working in school settings or with children in educational environments preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of 30 students efficiently. Reliable transportation for traveling between school sites. Strong communication and organizational skills. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' development and daily functioning through occupational therapy.
