Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based SLP certification for a contract position during the next school year. Responsibilities: Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders across grades K-12 Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and tailor interventions Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student success Employ evidence-based strategies and assistive technologies to maximize student communication skills Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) State licensure and certification as a school-based SLP Experience working with diverse student populations across K-12 settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain thorough clinical records Location: West Hartford, Connecticut
