Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 educational setting, working 35 hours per week at an education center located in Wappingers Falls, NY. This is a contracted role for the current school year (CSY), offering a dynamic opportunity to support students across a broad age range. Qualified candidates will have certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) and experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, or school settings. Recent Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) who are eager to develop their skills in a school environment are also encouraged to apply. This role involves conducting 9 to 10 individual 30-minute speech therapy sessions daily, enabling focused intervention tailored to each student's needs. Key qualifications and experience: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) SLP Experience in healthcare, pediatric, or educational speech therapy settings Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for K-12 students Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and staff Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with educational guidelines Primary responsibilities include: Delivering speech and language therapy services across the K-12 spectrum Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy plans accordingly Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Participating in meetings and maintaining thorough records consistent with educational standards This contract position offers the chance to contribute to student development in a supportive educational environment.
