Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Arvada, CO, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP credentials for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role offers an opportunity to support students across all grade levels in developing their communication skills within an educational setting. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Utilize evidence-based practices to provide effective speech and language therapy interventions Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Eligible or licensed as a School Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team Knowledge of current speech-language pathology best practices and educational regulations Location: Arvada, Colorado This contract position offers valuable experience in a school environment supporting diverse learners.
