Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide support in an elementary school setting. This contract role involves assisting with speech-language needs for 1st grade students. Location: Painesville, OH (Elementary School) Details: Part-time schedule: 1.5 days per week Contract duration: September 1st through November 28th Coverage for leave during this period Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement speech and language interventions for 1st grade students Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication development Monitor progress and maintain clear documentation of therapy sessions Provide strategies and resources to enhance communication skills in the classroom setting Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team This opportunity allows a skilled SLP to make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners in developing essential communication abilities.
