Job Title: Dental Patient Care Coordinator Position Summary: Mountain View Family Dental is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing patient scheduling, coordinating referrals, and helping ensure the office runs smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Warmly greet and assist all patients and visitors upon arrival. Answer multi-line phones promptly and professionally, directing calls and taking accurate messages. Schedule and reschedule appointments according to office protocols; record all interactions in patient charts. Check patients in and out, assist with registration forms, and schedule follow-up appointments or treatments. Collect payments, post transactions, and refer patients to the Financial Coordinator when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Monitor patient check-in times and coordinate patient flow for an efficient schedule. Process referrals and follow up with specialists or other providers. Provide interpretation support for clinical staff as needed. Support the Office Manager and dental team with various administrative tasks as required. Job Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and dental office software; quick to learn new technology; maintains patient confidentiality. Qualifications Previous dental or medical front desk experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.
